Q: How to troubleshoot accessing shared folder?

I have tried the following:

smb://lortsopro/myShare$
smb://192.168.1.109/myShare$

None of these method work. The shared folder is on Windows 10 and it used to work with my previous router until I got a new router and now it's no longer working. I am able to ping the MB Pro from the Windows 10 but I cannot ping the Windows 10 from the MB Pro.

Any help is much appreciated.

Could this be a Windows issue? I have checked turned off the firewalls on the Windows and it's still not working. I just want to make sure I'm cleared on the Mac side. Thanks!

I found the answer to this issue.

The main thing is, I didn't add the workgroup in the WINS of of the MacBook Pro.
