Why isn't my Microsoft mouse showing up in the Bluetooth section in System Preferences?
I recently purchased a Microsoft Bluetooth Mobile 3600 Mouse, and on the box of the mouse it says that it's compatible with Mac. But whenever I try and find it in the Bluetooth section of System Preferences, it doesn't show up. My Magic Mouse and Keyboard are always shown there and connected, and the gear that looks for discoverable devices is always turning, but never can my Mac find my mouse. I am up to the latest version of El Capitan, and I made sure that the batteries were new and in the mouse. I've tried different techniques with the on/off button on the mouse to try and get it to work, but it never does. I tried connecting the mouse to a Chromebook however, and right away it connected to that. So this is making me wonder, is it an issue with the Mac? Because the mouse says it's compatible with Mac. Please help and Thank you!
