Cleaning iPad Silicone Case

Hi Everyone,

I've been using Apple silicone cases on my iPad mini 4 for a while and have just bought some new ones for some of my other devices. The new ones feel very smooth - soft almost - but the one on the mini 4 that I've been using for a while feels much less so. I'm guessing this is due to grease and sweat from my hands (lovely!), but there must be a way to clean it off and make the case feel like new. I've tried dish soap / washing up liquid (depending on which side of the Atlantic you live!) and warm water, but that hasn't really helped.

Any ideas?

Many thanks in advance,

TG.

You can try this:

iPad Silicone Case

To clean your iPad Silicone Case, remove your iPad from the case. Use a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth to wipe the outside and the inside of the case. Don't use window cleaners, household cleaners, aerosol sprays, solvents, ammonia, abrasives, or cleaners containing hydrogen peroxide to clean the iPad case.

Hello, thanks for the reply. I've tried using a soft cloth and a little water too, but the case still doesn't feel like new. Maybe it's just how they go after some use, but I was hoping someone might have found some particular way to keep them feeling as good as they do when they're new. Perhaps it just needs cleaning more often to prevent grease etc. from building up.
