Q: how to burn Blu-ray from Blu-ray export to hard-drive?
I have about a two hour project which is 21 GB as a blu-ray export to hard-drive (I chose not to export to my blu-ray burner thinking it would be faster and wanting to burn it again later if I wanted). Now I have the 21 GB file exported as a .img file, but I have no idea how to burn it. Compressor won't open the file and neither will "burn" which only does DVD anyway. Just to clarify, when exporting the project to Blu-ray, I chose Hard-drive as my output rather than my blu-ray burner which was also an option. Any help would save me probably 6 hours or re-exporting and would be greatly appreciated! thanks, Paul

If you are using El Capitan: control-click the image file in the Finder, choose Burn.
For previous OS versions, open with Disk Utility and click the burn button.
