Jun 18, 2016 1:32 PM in response to rbwenby K Shaffer,Given the total cycles of the battery indicate it has reached the higher end of usage
a new battery is a likely recourse and would be a possible solution. If the MagSafe
adapter port in the computer is clean and the connectors appear to be able to touch
fully on both sides (adapter and port in macbook) then consider a Genius appointment.
There may be a problem with the circuitry inside the port of the MacBook Pro, if that
is so, the computer may need replacement DC-in Board. First, the battery cycles of
use indicate that to be a likely suspect in this round. Inspect the MagSafe contacts.
