Help! Updating iPad Air 2 to 9.3.2

I restored my ipad but when it asked for a password for encryption backup, I hit cancel thinking it was for an iPad password. Now it won't let me restore my backup without the password. What do I do? Plus, it did not restore any of the photos. Doing this on a Windows PC 10 in iTunes. Please help!
