Q: Apple Watch will not pair with iPhone

I received my replacement Apple Watch and it will not pair with my iPhone 6Plus.  I get a message that says, "Pairing Failed".  When I try to pair manually no Watch device shows up in theDevices Box on the watch screen.

Apple Watch, iOS 9.3.2

    Hi

To set up your replacement watch with your iPhone, follow the instructions in the support article linked below.

If you cannot pair your watch using the standard process, try pairing it manually instead:

    • Check that Bluetooth is enabled on your iPhone: Settings > Bluetooth.
    • Check that your iPhone is connected to Wi-Fi or to a cellular network: Settings > Wi-Fi.
    • Ensure that both devices are charged and turned on.
    • Place your watch on your wrist, with the band fastened and keep your iPhone nearby.
    • Choose a language on your watch.
    • Separately on each device, tap on Start Pairing (on your iPhone, do this within the Watch app).
    • On your iPhone: tap on Pair Apple Watch Manually.
    • On your watch: tap the info icon "i" > your device's name should be displayed on the watch face.
    • On your iPhone: tap the device name matching that shown on your watch > a six-digit code will be displayed on your watch.
    • Enter that six-digit code on your iPhone to pair the two devices.
    • Then follow the steps as prompted to set up your watch.
