Can downloaded songs sound bad tick or squeak?

Can downloaded songs skip squeak or sound bad? I started downloading stuff to fix this problem but I guess I was proven wrong after I downloaded Red Dirt Road by Brooks & Dunn all the other files sound great it's just "She was born to run"
