Blue Screen of Death while trying to sync Shuffle 2nd gen :(

It seems that the new shuffle has some incompatibility issues with other software (or not tested this way), because BSD occurs only at my home computer, but works normally at work.

I have a dump - so I'll try to figure out what happens.

Have somebody the same behaviour?
Some ideas?

Hello,

I actually need a minidump file. Here's how to get that:

1. Right-click on My Computer (from the Start menu) and click Properties.
2. Select the "Advanced" tab.
3. Click the Settings button in the Startup and Recovery section.
4. Choose "Small memory dump" from the popup.
5. Reproduce the BSOD.
6. After rebooting, locate the minidump file. It should be in C:\WINDOWS\Minidump" and is called something like Mini<number>-<number>.dmp.

I had exactly the same behaviour - I uninstall "USB Mass storage device" at all (you can do it by clicking "Safely Remove Hardware" icon at system tray -> Properties -> Driver-> Uninstall) and install it again automatically after re-plug-in iPod (Found New Hardware Wizard). It solved the problem.

May be it will help also to you.
