Thanks for reaching out to the Apple support community. I know how important it is to keep the files and content you need on you devices up to date. I have an article here that will guide you through a few different options you have to move your photos from your Mac to your iPhone. You have the option of doing so wth iCloud or by syncing your phone via iTunes.
