Q: bluetooth interference and issues

Hi. I'm being plagued by a terrible connection between my bluetooth magic mouse, keyboard and trackpad and my iMac. The mouse movements are jerky, cut off intermittently and make working at my iMac impossible. The keyboard and trackpad disconnect and reconnect at will. I've been to my local Apple store eight times in the last six months because of this issue, we've replaces the bluetooth module(unsuccessful), something apparently occurred during repair the third time because my motherboard was replaced. Still no better. Now I'm thinking it's an interference issue involving USB hard drives, wifi routers or any other device that runs on the 2.4 frequency. Problem is everything was great six short months ago. Now I'm forced to use a crappy cabled keyboard and mouse. NOT HAPPY. Anyone else experiencing these issues?

iMac (27-inch Mid 2011), OS X El Capitan (10.11.5)

    Hi rvalues!

I can understand that you're having issues with Bluetooth devices not functioning as expected and I'm happy to provide some information for you. I suspect interference may be causing this to happen and there are several possible sources of interference. This article may shed some light on the subject for you:

I have read many different articles and posts involving this issue. It's all well and good to suggest interference but how realistic is it for me to get rid of all peripherals that may or may not be the cause of my problem. I very well can't get rid of external hard drives, routers, wireless speakers and other such equipment. Equipment which I may add have been using for a length of time without issue. The Bluetooth connectivity only occurred after a regular OSX software update. I really don't need to be directed to essays on the Apple website as I research my issues WELL BEFORE I resort to community forums. Thank you for reaching out, my reply is out of frustration not personal.

Unfortunately I did not bring a solution, but another similar case of Bluetooth interference problem. I recently bought a headphone BT and my problems started. After searching in this forum and on the internet I can declare that the problem is in macos or any Apple device. e.g. if I turn off the mouse, then the headphone back to work perfectly.

Some details of my config: I - my iMac is updated, El Capitan10.11.5; II - my wifi is 5.8 GHz;  III - At problem, I was not using USB drive or other peripheral besides the mouse, keyboard and phone (JBL E50BT); IV - they are all over 80% of battery charge.

    p.s. sorry my english.
