Jun 19, 2016 1:55 PM in response to elcpuby dtmcim2016,Apparently not, I was hoping someone might have another solution. On a good day I may get 3 dots on the signal. Of course if I drive 1 hr south to Las Vegas, the problem is solved . My friend is frustrated, that I moved to a "podunk" area. . I'm also 30 min south of St. George, UT. which may also be a good area, but the mountains may be hampering the signal issue. Since the account is in my friends name, I may try to get him to call AT&T and *****.
Thanks for your input elcpu.

Jun 19, 2016 2:01 PM in response to dtmcim2016by elcpu,I have driven through Mesquite many times on my way to Zion National Park. St. George would definitely have a good signal. What happens if you try with Wi-Fi?

Jun 19, 2016 8:08 PM in response to elcpuby dtmcim2016,Haven't tried facetime for several months now. I just moved to Mesquite in January and had the cable/internet and wi-fi hooked up then. I have it set up on the phone but I just now noticed when I go to settings and bring up the wi-fi it has a padlock next to the signal icon that I don't recall seeing before. There's a checkmark next on the left showing I'm connected to my home wi-fi. I have another wi-fi connection for when I'm up at the Rec. Ctr. here in the Sun City development and that has a padlock also. What does that mean, do you know?
