Q: macbook turns off and on by itself....

this comes and then macbook turns off and on byitself. tried updating to latest el captain, but the problem persists.... please help!!!
i opened and cleaned the mac. but no use. and its not a new thing.... its been there for almost more than a year. with only a short period of symptom free period.
please help!!!
