Q: Missing camera in Project but not event FCPX

I have a project which i have spent many hours on however all of a sudden some clips have become "Missing Camera". The videos in the event are fine and do not have the camera icon in the bottom corner. When I attempt to reimport nothing happens. The videos are restored when i insert the SD they came from however i cannot share the project while the clips still reference the SD card.

So is there any way i can stop referencing the camera in the project?

Many Thanks

Ben

Did you optimize your original media when you imported? Sometimes the transcoding process has not been completed when a session has ended and that can result in the alert message. Select the clips that have the alert and right click, Transcode Media, to see whether you can create Optimized clip versions.

Try importing the problematic clips from your camera to a new library. After that completes, copy the clips from the new library back to your original library.
