Q: Disable full-screen swipe animation

On my MacBook I really enjoy using the feature 'swipe between full-screen apps (with four fingers)'. Unfortunately the swiping animation slows down the whole process. Previously I used the app Spaces which had a setting to disable this animation. On El Capitan Spaces is not really supported. Therefore I would like to know if there is another option to disable this animation.

Go to System Preferences --> Trackpad

Uncheck "Swipe between full-screen apps."

I do not want to disable the functionality. I just want to disable the 'sliding' animation from one full-screen app to the next to speed up the process.

It seems that the animation speed between full-screen transitions is considerably sped up when this is disabled. I like this. The slow animation was making me physically sick when frequently switching between apps. I always use cmd+tab anyway to switch between programs. Thanks for the suggestion.
