    Hi Jarom67,

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities. I know it's important to be able to use your keyboard so that you can actually do everything you want on your MacBook Air. No worries, I'm happy to provide you with some resources to help with that!

We provide some articles to reset your SMC and NVRAM, which can often help with performance or device issues. Please follow the steps for your computer in these articles:

Reset the System Management Controller (SMC) on your Mac

How to Reset NVRAM on your Mac

If these do not help, boot into OS X Recovery to see if your keyboard works ok there:

OS X: About OS X Recovery

If you are able to, you can also test this out in a new user account:

How to test an issue in another user account on your Mac

    Cheers!

Were going to need more info Jarom. Does it not work AT ALL? not even on the login screen? does the keyboard light up? any drops or liquid spill you're aware of? If you follow the steps that Sarah stated and theres still not avail or you can't even get to that point because you can't login, call the support line and they can hard reset your computer for you. If that doesn't work they'll set up a genius appointment for you. And if thats the case hopefully you're covered under warranty or applecare otherwise it will most likely cost you some hard earned cash.
