Jun 19, 2016 9:34 AM in response to wdh36by léonie,You can create a disk image from the installer DVD on your old mac and then transfer this installer disk image on a thumbs drive or over the network.
Or enable DVD/CD sharing in the System Preferences > Sharing panel on the old Mac that has a DVD drive and install by using the drive on the other MAC.
