MacBook 12" 2016 battery glitch

Hello everyone.

Recently I have noticed that when I plug my MacBook to a wall, the battery indicator shows "Not charging" for 5 seconds or so and then proceeds to "Charging" as usual. Is this a problem with the charger/battery, or a normal thing?

Thanks.

MacBook, OS X El Capitan (10.11.5), null

Is this when using the standard 29w power adapter, or some other charging input device?

...And is the computer turned off when attempting to charge it, or just in a nap-state?

If there are display or other USB-C adapters involved, there may be a lag in power to Mac.

You may need to address your concerns at an Apple Store with Genius appointment.

Good luck & happy computing! 🙂
