new songs added to iTunes library (iTunes Match/cloud) not appearing on phone

i currently use ITunes Match (iCloud) for my music library. I recently purchased 2 songs directly from my IPod Touch and these songs appear on my IPod Touch and on my ITunes Library on my PC; however these new songs are NOT appearing on my IPhone. On my iPhone , the setting for ICloud Music Library is currently "on" and I have never had this issue in the past. I tried running an Update My ICloud on my PC, but that did not correct the issue. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated... Not sure where to start in order to resolve. Thanks,
