Please help! As of yesterday my messages were not being delivered to someone that has an Apple device now today its saying that their phone number is no longer registered to Imessage.Have I been blocked? Is there an outage or perhaps a bug? I also noticed that my Ipod touch isn't showing my received emails on my locked screen right below the time and date like it used to this all happened around the same time and I'm not sure if its connected.Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.Thank you! :-)

I should probably include the fact that I also downloaded an app to my Ipod Touch after having a warning pop up that my Ipod had been infected with a virus.Again I dont know if this is all apart of this issue but I wanted to mention it due to the timing of it all (only a day before)

I’m not sure if you have been blocked. Are you able to use FaceTime on your iPod touch? You might be able to FaceTime that person’s phone number. Or you might want to ask a family member if they are able to use their home phone to call that person’s phone number. Or maybe they might be able to use their iPhone if they have one. Some steps to try for mail notifications:

    1. Open settings.
    2. Scroll down and tap notifications.
    3. Scroll down and tap mail.
    4. Tap “show on lock screen.”
    5. Reset your iPod touch if necessary. Nothing will be lost.
    6. Got a virus on your iPod touch? Here’s how to remove it:
    7. In settings, tap safari and scroll down and turn on “block pop ups.”

    Good luck!

I'm not sure about FaceTime with that number as I have never done that before but I will ask someone to call from their home phone number to check for me.What is odd is that I can use Imessage to send a message to their email address but not their phone number. That just seems so odd to me...

If a number is blocked the sender gets no feedback. It is sent but never received.

Maybe the association of phone number and ID was lost. Have them do this

Add or remove your phone number to iMessage or FaceTime on your Mac, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

If I was blocked wouldnt I be blocked from not only his phone number but also an email address as well? It just doesnt make sense.

If I get a response I will tell them thank you for all your help :-)

You would only be blocked from that person's phone number not their email address.
