ipod nano 7 screen repair

I recently purchased an iPod nano 7th generation just less than a month ago. I accidentally dropped it, the screen has a slight chip on the edge, with about five crack lines across, I do not have my original receipt, and would like to have it repaired, but I would first like to know what I am in for? what is the coverage warranty for accidental damage? I also had trouble navigating the support center?
