Iphone camera dull, washed out, not original colors

Hii

I've been using using iPhone since long back, now I'm using iPhone6.

Lately I used my friends Samsung Galaxy prime camera, and clicked a couple of pictures, in those my original color was displayed

but then when I compare it with my iPhone clicked pictures, the pictures from my Iphone come out to be pale and washed out.

I really prefer original colors to be displayed rather than pale washed out fake colors.

Any setting or app or any fix for this?

Hey tanveerakbar,

I understand that you have some questions about the options available with your iPhone’s camera. The issue you seem to point out in your photos can be related to exposure settings, which can be adjusted before you take your picture:

Adjust the exposure. Tap to see User uploaded file next to the exposure rectangle, then slide up or down to adjust the exposure.

Take photos and videos - iPhone

Personally, I've found that changing the focal point of the picture by tapping on the screen before taking the picture can affect the exposure and perceived "brightness" of the photo, as well.

You may also want to perform some editing of your photos after the fact using the built-in photo editing tools:
