THere is no way outside of disassembling the iPhone to know what CPU type it has inside, nor does it matter. Both CPUs are made to the same exact specs, and perform exactly the same.

Jun 20, 2016 10:28 AM in response to EvgeniDby ChrisJ4203,There is no way other than the app that you are already aware of. There is no method to install anything on a PC to get the information. As Phil0124 also indicated, the model of CPU is not relevant to the operation of the device. They both work within the same tolerances. You wouldn't be able to tell the difference if you are a regular user.

Jun 21, 2016 3:34 AM in response to EvgeniDby K Shaffer,You could see what kind of hardware details are available through
use of an 'online serial number lookup service' such as this one:
• Lookup Your Apple Serial Number: (covers most Apple)

Good luck in any event...!
