Manufacturer of stock thermal paste/grease in Macs

HI there! Does anyone know who is the manufacturer of stock thermal paste Apple uses in Macs, particularly in MacBook Pros since their introduction? And does Apple supply their authorised service centers around the world with it?

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013), OS X El Capitan (10.11.5), null

Apple doesn't provide that level of detail of parts or supplies used in their contract manufacturer's process. Plus, I'd not be surprised if the supplier changes regularly, depending on whatever deals the Apple device manufacturer overseas can arrange to meet their demand. Typically, Apple provides the specifications for their devices, but the actual manufacturer(s) have some control over how they arrange their own production lines to meet those specs.

Well I searched the web before posting this question. I found out on one web site of Apple repair service provider that the official thermal paste manufacturer for Macs is MicroSi. But this info is only on 1 site in entire web.

I brought my MacBook Pro to authorized Apple service provider and it provides a paid service that includes replacing old thermal interface with new one. And because I still have AppleCare active on my device I can't get it to another unauthorized service provider, and other authorized ones don't offer such service. There are plenty of such services that are unauthorized by Apple with good thermal pastes, but the key word is unauthorized.

That's why I need to know exactly what paste they use.

Well it seems that the only possible way to get the answer is to ask engineer about it and hope he will give me an answer because they usually don't share such information.

I wouldn't really bother getting a hold of the stock thermal paste. I've heard of some people getting a 8-10C temperature difference during load by swapping out the stock thermal paste with something better on his MacBook Pro. I can't remember what he put on. At least for me, I use Noctua NT-H1 on all of my computers, my friends use it and we also use it where I work. If you for some reason plan to replace the thermal paste, you might as well replace it with something good.
