Q: Re-download Yosemite Installer?

Re-download Yosemite Installer?

Double clicking the Install Yosemite (or Mavericks) results in:

corupt Yosemite installer.jpg

The Re-install choice brings another error:

ERROR: This is not the proper way to reinstall Yosemite. Use the installer you downloaded before.

These are the installers I downloaded!!

As you can see I downloaded both at the store:

(Unfortunately my .jpg screen-shot proof was not accepted)

If somebody knows how I can get Yosemite installed on a new larger internal drive without erasing it first, please let me know.

I am waiting for my Apple case number: 1130824637 to be answered. I can't even believe Apple would do such a thing

to force people to upgrade to El Capitan which I can not use because of it's driver-incompatibility with my thousands

of dollars audio-hardware! I tried all suggestions to fix this on the net. Help please!

Do you have trouble to re-download Yosemite, Mavericks?

Apple customer service needs to be re-trained! When I told them the App Store re-download for either Yosemite (or Mavericks) does not work.

They wanted me to : “I understand you’re having trouble with El Capitan. In order to downgrade the OS we’ll need to erase the Mac and reinstall Yosemite.

I do not have EL Capitan!

I explained over and over I need a good working link to re-download Yosemite.

After 2 weeks of trying to solve this I figured out the problem myself:

Erase all Install Yosemite installers in your computer after which the App store link will turn to install instead of the grayed out Downloaded.

A friendly tip to Apple: Please take better care of your loyal Mac customers!
