import from photos library with lightroom

I am having trouble importing the photo library with Lightroom- it is grayed out. Adobe remote tech help could not do it either.

I have moved the photo library to new folders and locations and it will not import. Help?

It was in Mac-user-my name-pictures then pictures folder again. I tried making a new folder and moved it to the same tier as users and still grayed out.
