Q: Mouse click speed is slow

I can't find a way to change the click speed of my magic mouse. In preferences there is only a setting for how fast the arrow will go across the screen. I'm getting menu boxes instead of being able to click on items of interest and it annoying as ****.

iMac (27-inch, Late 2013), iOS 9.3.2

    I'm wondering if this because your profile is showing Mavericks  while you have perhaps upgraded to El Capitan.   If this is the case you may need a new mouse.   Magic Mouse 2 has been designed exclusively to work with El Capitan and future OSs and that is why the available facilities have also changed.

     

    If the above upgrade is true, perhaps you can find a moment to update your profile.
