Q: How can you restore messages from your iPhone but not the iMessages ?

I accidently del my boyfriends conversation by text to swipe & I swiped to delete . Is there any way I could get them all back? He doesn't have an iPhone just a samung , please help me ? Thank you .

iPhone 5s, iOS 9.3.2

If you have a back up that includes those messages, you can restore your phone from that back up. Note that restoring from the back up will overwrite anything that has been added to the phone since that back up was made.
