Q: 2NIC Inbound and outbound + DHCP
Hi guys,
I have two questions for the smart people out there, please:
First Question:
I am busy setting up a server with two network cards, inbound (WAN or WiFi) and outbound (Thunderbolt Ethernet) with a DHCP server only running on the outbound traffic. What static address do I make the server IP address so that it will still be in the DHCP range? and have internet on the MacServer ?
Second Question:
I have a 1000 people thats going to connect (Wifi Hot-Spot) to this server and only for an hour at a time to fill in a form that im hosting VIA the web.
What will be the best setup, to set the IP range on the DHCP to?
I did some Googeling and found the IP range to be: 10.10.0.1 - 10.10.15.254, 255.255.240.0 that will give me 4090 ip's and that will be more than enough?
Thank you
Kind Regards
