Q: can't update Keynote on Macbook Air

This is my problem:

I have an Macbook Air and OSX 10.10.5 is running on the system.

And I want to have Keynote installed on trough the appstore.

It seems that the system is downloading 465 Mb but at the end asks for:

' The storedownloadd is trying to install new software. Type an adminitrator's name and password to allow this'

and that is what i do'nt have. Hope you can help!!Schermafbeelding 2016-06-21 om 13.04.57.png

Why don't you know your admin password?

You need it every time you log into Mac OS X so surely you have used the login password before.

You would have chosen the administrator password when you initially set up the Mac after you purchased it.

The operating system will only allow a registered administrator of the Mac (the owner -  the main user) to make any changes on the Mac.

If you are not the administrator, and you don't know your password you will not be allowed to install software.

If you have lost or forgotten your password phone Apple support.
