I've created a slideshow using Photos app. I'd like the images to show up randomly (like they can in Power Point) but I see no where in settings that allows this. Any thoughts?
There is no option in Photos for MAc to randomize a slideshow.
You could create an album and present the album as an instant slideshow in random order using an Apple Script.

The AppleScript works only if fewer than 50 photos are selected. I'm guessing that the problem is within the randomizaton section of the script.
The scripts randomization process is not optimal. What I found was that with more images than 50, the script's randomization resulted in groups of adjacent photos instead of true randomization. I fixed this by putting a repeat loop around the randomization code. Repeating four times worked well with up to 500 images. I didn't test higher numbers.
