Jun 28, 2016 12:07 AM in response to 1micdevby pamfrombalwyn,Pages on the iPad can be used and then from the Documents area and Share icon choose Send a Copy. Choose ePub. Yes I KNOW that is not iBooks format but an ePub CAN be opened in iBooks.
You may need to first send the ePub to Notes or Dropbox or ???? then from there select Open In ... iBooks but i CAN all be done on an iPad.

Aug 24, 2016 2:09 AM in response to 1micdevby Book Creator for iPad,You can use Book Creator to create your ebooks. You could save these books to a cloud app to distribute them to the class iPads, or even just AirDrop them.
If you're in a region with Apple's Volume Purchase Program, you can save 50% on the app.
