Q: Movies missing (all movies tab)

Movies are missing from the All Movies tab on my 4th ben apple TV, but I can find them all in the Genres. Is anyone else having this issue and is there a fix for this I scroll through All Movies when looking for a movie to watch not by the Genres.

Peace.

Have you tried force quitting the iTunes movies app? It may just need to access the database again.

I have had this same problem for weeks...after I restart the Apple TV (4th gen) it fixes the problem temporarily but then the next day about half of my movies will be missing from the 'All Movies' tab again. Frustrating having to search through genres. I have over 400 movies so not sure if that has something to do with it.

Yeah, I tried forcing the app to quit, restarting the Apple TV, logging out and back in. Sometimes they come back then theres disappear. Very frustrating.

Intermittent problems are often a result of interference. Interference can be caused by other networks in the neighbourhood or from household electrical items.

You can download and install iStumbler (NetStumbler for windows users) to help you see which channels are used by neighbouring networks so that you can avoid them, but iStumbler will not see household items.

Refer to your router manual for instructions on changing your wifi channel or adjusting your multicast rate.

There are other types of problems that can affect networks, but this is by far the most common, hence worth mentioning first. Networks that have inherent issues can be seen to work differently with different versions of the same software. You might also try moving the Apple TV away from other electrical equipment.

The following article(s) may help you.

It's not interference....I have my Apple TV hooked up directly to my router

I'm still having this problem and it seems to be worse now....gotta be a problem on Apple's end
