Display issues

The problem started when i was about to end the call and the screen started turning red and the springboard became frozen before it went black completely, I resta the iphone but the screen was still black then I plugged it to a computer where iTunes recognized it but didn't show the springboard in the app section of the phone in iTunes, then I did factory reset and updated to 9.3.2 but nothing changed except that the backlight would come on and off anytime I tap the home or power button. Since then the phone has been useless....the phone is only 5 months old
