Configure over WAN missing

So I am trying to set up my 4th gen AirPort Time Capsule Version 7.6.7, to use as a server that I can access over the internet. I have seen many tutorials that say I need to enable the configuration over WAN.

Above image is from previous version of AirPort Utility and not my system.

Here is what it looks like on my system:

How am I able to get this to configure over WAN and not delete anything? Any help soon would be wonderful!

There may be a few options for remote access setup in this article: AirPort Disk - Remote Access (3 Methods)

Also, is the WAN setup option available on your base station? Might have to set it up through there.

WAN setup is not showing up. I tried using the DHCP and NAT option briefly and now it looks like it forgot my time capsule. How could I have it recognize it again. AHHHHHHH.

I have tried a hard reset and that worked to find it again but still not able to do a WAN connection

Is the SGU Airport your main router as well? That's where the WAN setup is usually located, since it would be the main base station on the network.

Yes it is but it doesn't have the WAN option anywhere that I can see. It is a different time capsule. It is a 802.11ac and version 7.7.7

You could also try using the Back To My Mac feature for this as well. There's a great setup procedure from a forum expert, Tesserax, in the link I previously posted. There's also this from Apple Support: Set up and use Back to My Mac - Apple Support

It's a great secure option that runs over iCloud. Worth a shot!

From what I can tell at this point there is no way to get back the"Configuration over Ethernet WAN port" option to connect or access files from a totally different computer or device. Would I be correct in understanding that? The only way to do anything is to go through iCloud connection?

It might not appear since the one Time Capsule looks to be wirelessly connected to the main one, according to the dotted lines on the Airport Utility screenshot you provided. The Setup over WAN option probably requires an Ethernet connection to the devices WAN port.

Is this the case?

That didn't work either. I accidentally clicked on the solved button but it hasn't been solved yet. If there are any other options I'm open to hearing them.

I used to have it connected and just recently moved it. I will have to try putting it back and see what happens. I just barely had the "Movie Server" be an extension of "SGU Airport" and have had the "Movie Server" hooked up to my iMac with an Ethernet cable.
