My apple ID was locked by security reasons. When I change the password on page "iforgot.apple.com",it shown Server Error. But other apple IDs can change the password nomarlly. This locked ID turns on Two-step verification.

How did you fix this? I have the same problem! This morning I disabled two step verification and moved to two factor verification. It was working fine, I was even able to make an app specific password for Polymail. After a few hours, I got the message that my account was locked. When I try to unlock it, I get the same error that there is a server error and I cannot unlock it. I called Apple and they’ll try to help me, but it can take up to 3 days...
This is my problem exactly ....the only question is that I called apple support line in July 2nd , they said that they could not help me and and directed the issue to "other team" . they person that I talked gave me the contactos e-mail for her in Apple and she presented very helpful for any doubts ... the result is :
my id is still locked , I have no new info and no one answered any of my emails ...
im calling tomorrow again....
They don't know why, I wonder if the Two-step verification caused this problem.
Turn it off and see if the error goes away.
