itunes not working after re-installing on windows 7

i recently updated my itunes to the latest version and it couldn't work after that. I uninstalled the program (following the steps on Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates but it still doesn't work. Every time i try to open my itunes this appears:

I went ahead to delete my CoreAudioToolbox.dll and repaired the apple application support but the same error appears. I tried almost every solution i can find but it still doesn't work.

I hope you can help me, thanks you.

Hello tjy_j,

If I’m understanding you right, iTunes crashes on your PC upon opening it and you’ve already tried uninstalling/reinstalling the software. I also see that this started only after you attempted to update iTunes. I know unexpected issues with software after updating is never a fun experience so I can certainly see why you would reach out for help with this today.

We have put together some awesome steps to help you get iTunes up and running again. Follow each one of the applicable steps in the following support article:

I'd reinforce the advice above to make sure Windows is fully updated with all available patches. Then, for general advice, see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates which you've already mentioned.

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Since removing the one dll and then trying to repair that component hasn't worked for you I'd recommend the deeper clean.

Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.

The further information area has direct links to the current and recent builds in case you have problems downloading, need to revert to an older version (try the last one that worked for you) or want to try the iTunes for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) release as a workaround for installation or performance issues, or compatibility with third party software.

Your library and device backups should be unaffected by these steps but there are links to backup and recovery advice should it be needed.
