Q: IPhone Battery draining faster
My iPhone has started draining much more rapidly for some reason now. I will leave it alone all night and see that I now have 35% left. It used to be in the morning that I would see 70+%. What is causing this and how do I fix it?
Thanks.
iPhone 6, iOS 8.2

In the morning, go to Settings/Battery and see which apps have used the most energy over the past day. Plan your troubleshooting based on those results.
But you should be leaving the phone plugged in overnight, every night. There's no reason not to, and several benefits to doing it:
- The battery will be fully charged for the day ahead when you get up
- WiFi will stay on all night, so any background updates will use WiFi instead of cellular data (WiFi is off when the phone is asleep, unless the phone is plugged in)
- You can turn on automatic backups to iTunes or iCloud, and you will always have a backup less than 24 hours old (see: About backups in iCloud and iTunes - Apple Support)
