Q: Access Time Machine with Different Administrator
I have a 2012 MacBook Pro and am running El Capitan. I had to erase the drive and reinstall El Capitan. When I set up the reformatted drive, I used a different administrator name. Time Machine will not allow me to access any files that were backed up before I reformatted the drive. Is there any way to do this?

Pls see this Apple Support document on how to change the Administrator name. Change the OS X user account name and home folder name on your Mac - Apple Support
Might be a good idea to Restart the MacBook afterwards Good luck.
