Jun 22, 2016 8:13 PM in response to Phanpy Overlordby darren.s,Hello Phanpy Overlord!
From your post, it looks like when you use the trackpad it will double-click instead of single click. We can check a few things.
If you haven't yet, restart the MacBook Pro and then check the double-click speed: Adjust double-click and scrolling speed of your mouse or trackpad - Apple Support
After that, you can try testing in safe mode as well to see if it does the same there: Try safe mode if your Mac doesn't finish starting up - Apple Support
Hope this helps out. If it's still acting strange, reply back with any other steps you may have tried besides these.
Best wishes.

Jun 23, 2016 1:29 AM in response to darren.sby Phanpy Overlord,Thanks for the info, but it didn't help. I restarted countless times, but in Safe Boot its apparently fine. I think it's a program because when I turn on my mac, it's fine for a few seconds, but then something launches and this happens. What could it be tho? It happened yesterday morning. It just happened.

Jun 23, 2016 2:20 AM in response to Phanpy Overlordby seventy one,You could try this. Download and apply the 10.11 El Capitan Combo update. This will re-jig your machine but have no effect on your files. Let me know what happens when you have done it. Oh, and slow down the double click speed.

Jul 6, 2016 2:26 AM in response to seventy oneby Phanpy Overlord,(I didn't reply because i tried to download the combo update for a few times and now i managed to do it) I tried Re-jigging my Mac and I lowered double click speed. Nothing helped.
I don't know what happened. It just happened. I don't remember installing anything harmful or anything. It just appeared one day.
