Q: cancel app

How do I cancel the myfitnesspal app. I was told it was free and I don't want to pay anything for it.

I understand you'd like to cancel your service for the app called MyFitnessPal. I can also see how you would like to not be charged for the service. If I were using the app too and I happened to be charged for the service, I wouldn't be happy either. After pulling up the app from my end, I am seeing that the app is free too, so you are correct about that. Having some familiarity with the app myself, I do know that for the more premium services or features, you will need to pay a subscription.

 

If you purchased a subscription on your iOS device through iTunes you can cancel your subscription by following these steps:

View, change, or cancel your subscriptions - Apple Support

 

If you'd rather prefer you can also contact iTunes support as another user has suggested previously. If you purchased the subscription without iTunes, you may have to directly contact MyFitnessPal. If you need to contact them, please visit their website where you may find information on how to contact them: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/welcome/contact_us


Additionally, if you were charged and would like to request a refund you may try to do so by visiting the following link:

    The "Calorie Counter & Diet Tracker by MyFitnessPal" App is free.

     

    Are you being charged for anything?

     

    Where did you see a charge?

    You will have to contact iTunes support.
