Q: Wi-Fi "No IP Address"
Hey all,
My Macbook Pro (OS X El Capitan, 10.11.5) won't connect to my work Wi-Fi. This is my first time connecting to this particular network, but my phone will connect just fine as will most devices it seems. When I click connect to this particular network, I enter the password. It accepts but the Wi-Fi status bar keep loading and loading as if it cannot find a network. In Network Preferences, it simply says "No IP Address" rather than the network name. I've restarted, deleted and added the network again, deleted and added the Wi-Fi in the left hand column, created a new location, tried to renew the DHCP Lease, made this network a priority, etc. and nothing is working. I cannot reset the router because it's a work network and every computer in the system is on it, as well as the software that allows us to do business. Wi-Fi being down even for a few minutes means losing sales.
Anyone have any idea on how this can be fixed? Thank you!
Mac Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.5)
