Q: Making a DVD with iMovie 10.1.2

I made a movie with iMovie 10.1.2 and it turned out well.  I now want to make a DVD with chapter markers for where I want the scene choice to be on the DVD.   Just like commercial DVD's where you can select the scene you want.  In iMovie 9 it was easy to make chapter markers and share to idvd towards having the scenes on the DVD right where you wanted them.   But now I'm unable to have the scenes like I want.   I'm able to make a dvd with idvd but I can't get the scenes where I want them to be on the DVD.   Can anyone help?

    Hi, gmez88!

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities! From your post, I see you are trying to create a DVD from an iMovie project and want to include chapter markers for scene selection. That can definitely be convenient, so I can understand wanting that option.

iMovie 10 does not include a feature to create chapter markers, however there are several apps in the Mac App Store that may be able to help. A few that I have found are listed below; if they don't quite meet your needs, you can always check out the Mac App Store at your convenience to locate one that will.

You can still use iMovie 9.0.9 with El Capitan.  If you don't have it in your Applications folder check your backup made just prior to converting to El Capitan and iMovie 10 and restore iMovie 9.
