Q: New i-pod Touch-Will restrictions carry over?

My daughter had a 5th gen ipod touch with restrictions in place by me.  That ipod died so we bought her a new one, to be received today.  Will the restrictions I set up on the 5th gen automatically carry over to the 6th gen or do I have to set them up again?  She told me "I have everything backed up on icloud" but I don't know what that means.

Hi,

 

 

It has to be setup again.

 

iCloud backsup photos, documents, bookmarks, etc., but not restriction settings.
