Q: Keynote (6.6.2) Export to PDF errors

Keynote 6.6.2

MacBook Pro (15-inch, Mid 2012)/2.6 GHz Intel Core i7/16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3/NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024 MB

My keynote file is 20 slides long and when I export to PDF (good) 3 of the 20 slides have errors.

  • Black background is now white
  • missing 2.3 text boxes per page

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

James

    Hi jamesBP425,

Thanks for checking out the Apple Support Communities and for the details about what's happening. I understand you're running in to errors when you try to export your Keynote presentation. I can certainly go over some info to help you get this working.

Since you're having some trouble with a few slides, I recommend trying to recreate those slides only in a new document. Then try to export that document to see if you run into the same errors. This will help determine if there's an issue with the document you're working with or those particular slides. If it's happening with just those particular slides, you may need to remove them from the original document and then re-create them again. You can also try to export a different test document that does not include those slides just to make sure that it exports normally.

You can see the link below for the full steps on exporting a Keynote presentation to a PDF.

    Cheers!
