Q: 1080p 60fps video stutters when played back on tv

I Usually take 1080p 60fps video on my iPhone 6 S plus and edit it on the phone with iMovie. after uploading it to Vimeo from iMovie, however, I notice that It stutters when played back with the Apple Tv, as if dropping frames. I was wondering if anyone experiences a similar issue and if there Is a way to solve it. Thank you!

So to understand correctly, you are playing back the video by accessing Vimeo on your AppleTV?  Do any other videos stutter in the same way? Does the video stutter when played back in Vimeo on your iPhone or on the web? If you export the video to your camera roll and use Airplay to watch it on your AppleTv, does it stutter as well?

The problem is it could be a problem with Vimeo, the network connection to the AppleTv, the playback of 60fps files on the AppleTV itself, or iMovie's exported files. If you can eliminate some of the above conditions, it might help narrow down to a root cause.

The only thing that might cause an issue from iMovie's standpoint would be to ensure that you are exporting it in 60fps by enabling it in the Settings app.

As for the AppleTV, ensure that you have installed any new software updates and that you have a good internet connection speed.

If it's Vimeo... sorry you're on your own with that one
