Q: AppleID locked - is this a scam?

I have just received s text message from 'AppleGB' saying "We have noticed unusual sign in attempts on your Apple ID, therefore your account has been locked. To unlock visit www.iresrore.acc4.co.uk'. Does this sound genuine or a scam?

Hi,

When you receive correspondence from Apple it will be a direct communication from Apple to you. What it appears you have received is a text that redirects to a website for Apple ID. DO NOT PROVIDE YOUR APPLE ID. Here is the link to the Official Apple Support for locked ID's. Always refer to Apple ONLY when dealing with your account and ID information.
