Q: What would happen if I were to disable iCloud Photo Library and enable My Photo Stream to save storage on my iCloud? I have an iPhone and a Mac will all my photos synced.

    Firstly you wouldn't be able to use the optimise option that comes with iCloud photo library on your phone and this may mean that you have to periodically delete older photos from your phone. You should however with the use of photo stream be able to keep all the photos on your Mac, you will just need to make sure that you let your Mac import photos from photo stream regularly since they will only be available for download for 30 days.

     

    You will of course only have access to your photo stream album (and any shared albums you create) on your Apple TV via the photos app and not your whole library. You will still have access to your whole library on the Apple TV via home sharing from your computer.
