Q: Storage and Podcasts

A few weeks ago, I noticed that the native app for podcasts used 35 Gb of my phone storage, despite the fact that I had deleted every single episode downloaded. After looking around, trying a couple of things, adjusting the settings, I finally reset the entire phone. This helped, and after resetting it, the usage of storage was a few hundred Mb for the app. However, it seems to be gradually growing, and after a few days, it is now on 1,5 Gb. Has anybody experienced the same thing? Could somebody tell me what's going on?

Cheers!

Review you subscription settings, both general and for each podcast. Sounds like you have auto-downloads of episodes set somewhere.

It's also possible that you have iTunes set to download the episodes, then sync them to your device. Check those settings as well.

But all podcasts are empty of episodes. When I press 'manage storage', I can see that it is 'Documents & data' that piles up all the Gb, and there is no logical explanation to why documents and data should grow with over 1 Gb overnight.
