MBP getting hot

HI, my MBP getting to hot when I am running video or adobe applications. Is this common or I need to take MBP to service center/

Seems to be normal since the Mac is working harder and thus gets hot.

The following may help to determine if yo have any errant apps contributing to the hotness

Download a temperature/fanspeed application.

Open Activity Monitor to ALL PROCESSES and set CPU to display values from high to low.

When the MBP gets 'hot', post images of both for review.
